The Problem We Set Out to Solve
Traditional disposable floss picks or small plastic floss dispensers are either bulky, non-biodegradable, or inconvenient to carry. Standard paper envelopes for floss often fail to maintain hygiene and are difficult to open with one hand. Consumers told us they wanted:
True portability – fits in a wallet, cardholder, or phone case
Hygienic protection – no dust, moisture, or contamination before use
Effortless access – no scissors, no fumbling
Eco-conscious packaging – minimal plastic, fully recyclable
Our Solution: TEAR – PULL – FLOSS in One Motion
The new packaging design, shown in the development image above, is built around a simple three-step user journey:
TEAR – A precision lasercut midline runs across the paper pack. With a gentle pinch, the pack separates cleanly into two halves – no jagged edges, no torn paper fibers falling onto the floss.
PULL – The vacuum-sealed environment keeps the floss taut and sterile. Once torn, the floss emerges smoothly without tangling.
FLOSS – A short, high-tensile segment of our ultra-smooth, waxed floss is ready for immediate use. Each pack contains exactly one premeasured length (approx. 40 cm) – enough for a fullmouth clean.
